October 3rd ~ Feast of ST. TERESA of the INFANT JESUS
Saint Thérèse of Lisieux
(“The Little Flower”), Virgin
O LORD, Who hast said: Unless ye become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven, grant unto us, we beseech Thee, so to follow the footsteps of blessed Teresa, virgin, in lowliness and simplicity of heart that we may gain everlasting rewards.
Who livest and reignest, with God the Father, in the unity of the Holy Ghost, God, world without end. Amen.

ACT of LOVE (Spiritual Communion)
I believe Thou art present in the Blessed Sacrament, O Jesus. I love Thee and desire Thee. Come into my heart. I embrace Thee, O never leave me. I beseech Thee, O Lord Jesus, may the burning and most sweet power of Thy love absorb my mind, that I may die through love of Thy love, who wast graciously pleased to die through love of my love. Amen.

Prayer to Our Lady of the Rosary
O VIRGIN Mary, grant that the recitation of thy Rosary may be for me each day, in the midst of my manifold duties, a bond of unity in my actions, a tribute of filial piety, a sweet refreshment, an encouragement to walk joyfully along the path of duty. Grant, above all, O Virgin Mary, that the study of thy fifteen mysteries may form in my soul, little by little, a luminous atmosphere, pure, strengthening and fragrant, which may penetrate my understanding, my will, my heart, my memory, my imagination, my whole being. So shall I acquire the habit of praying while I work, without the aid of formal prayers, by interior acts of admiration and of supplication, or by aspirations of love. I ask this of thee, O Queen of the Holy Rosary, through St. Dominic, thy son of predilection, the renowned preacher of thy mysteries, and the faithful imitator of thy virtues. Amen.
300 Days, once a day.

PRAYER to CHRIST, KING AND HIGH PRIEST
to implore protection for the Holy Church
October 1st, 2023
Lord Jesus Christ, King and High Priest of the Holy Church, Who ordered Saint Peter, Prince of the Apostles, to feed the sheep and lambs of Thy flock, giving him the Holy Keys to the Kingdom of Heaven: turn Thy gaze to the Church Militant on earth, besieged by external and internal enemies who plot Her destruction and seek the ruin of the souls Thou hast redeemed with Thy Most Precious Blood.
We, prostrate before Thine altar, recognize Thee as our King and Lord, and we offer homage to Thee as the Supreme High Priest of the Mystical Body.
For too long, Lord, we have disgusted Thee with our lukewarmness; for too long we have silently witnessed the betrayal of Thy holy Law; for too long we have confused the virtue of Obedience with vile servility.
We remained silent when Thy doctrine was denied by infidel mercenaries; we tolerated Thy Holy Sacrifice being adulterated and tampered with; we looked away while Thou wast offended and profaned in the Blessed Sacrament; we put human respect and the spirit of the world ahead of the duty to bear witness to Thy Name and to profess the Faith that Thou hast taught us.
How we could be surprised today that, in the face of so much tepidity, so many betrayals, Thy Justice rightly punishes us with the severity of the Father offended by his ungrateful children?
And how could we hope for Thy Mercy, when we have denied Thee more times than Peter, when we have worshipped the golden calf, just like, and even worse than, the Jews in the desert?
We dare not lift our gaze towards the Throne of Thy Majesty, because we fear meeting the face of wrath and anger that our innumerable personal and social faults have heaped upon our heads.
Allow us therefore, Lord Jesus Christ, Son of the Eternal Father, to turn to Thy Most Holy Mother, Our Lady and Queen: allow us to have recourse to Her, Whom in humility Thou allowed to crush the head of the Serpent, so that we, confident and repentant, may see our prayers answered.
As our High Priest, intercede with the Father and the Holy Spirit so that Thou, Most Holy and Undivided Trinity, may free us from the assaults of an enemy who is all the more ferocious the closer the inexorable hour of his eternal defeat approaches.
May Mary Most Holy, Thy Living Tabernacle, the Ark of the Covenant, vanquish Satan and his hosts.
We place in the hands of Thy most August Mother, all the misery of our supplications, our fasting, and our penances, aware that She, Mediatrix of all Graces and Help of Christians, will be able to present them before Thee and to ask for Thy forgiveness, bringing about an end to these terrible days of subversion and apostasy.
And, as the Immaculate Virgin wast united with Thy Passion as Co-Redemptrix, so we implore Thee to unite Thyself to the Passion of the Church, Thy mystical Body, so that the treasures of Graces of our Redemption through Thy Cross may still be poured out on the Holy Church, on her Ministers, on all the Faithful and on the many souls Thou hast regenerated in the Font of Baptism.
Have mercy on Thy flock, abandoned by the shepherds and left at the mercy of predatory wolves. Have mercy on the Bishops and Priests who suffer persecution for being faithful to Thee. Have mercy on the men and women religious who implore Thee in the silence of their cloisters. Have mercy on the Faithful, hungry for the heavenly food of the Most Holy Eucharist and thirsty for the pure water of Thy Word.
And, if the authority of the Chief Shepherd, whom Thou established on earth as Thy Vicar, is today usurped to disperse the flock, becoming an accomplice to the workers of iniquity, deign to open the eyes of those who refuse to see the massacre of innocents that is taking place, the ruin of so many souls destined for the glory of Heaven, the scandalization of the little ones.

Touch the hearts of the Pastors who gather in the Synod: give them the courage to defend strenuously, even to the point of sacrificing their lives, that immutable treasure of Faith and Morals that the Apostles transmitted to us intact.
Send Thy Spirit, the Consoler, to enlighten misguided minds. Inflame sterile and rebellious hearts with the fire of Thy Charity.
Awaken in Thy Ministers apostolic zeal for the salvation of souls, for the honor of the Holy Church, and for Thy Glory.
Restore virile pride to the Consecrated, so that they may have Thee as a model of purity and sanctity, and let them avoid the corruption of vices and the plague of impurity.
Inspire those in authority with feelings of true repentance and resolutions of sincere reparation for the scandals that humiliate Thy Bride and disgust souls, so that the Calvary that the Church will have to climb, following Thine example, in order to merit eternal glory, may find us and our Pastors worthy of fighting the spiritual battle that awaits us under Thy holy insignia and under the protective mantle of Thy Most August Mother.
And so may it be.

FIRST FRIDAY of OCTOBER ❤️
O Sacred Heart of Jesus, animated with a desire to repair the outrages unceasingly offered to Thee, we prostrate before Thy throne of mercy, and in the name of all mankind, pledge our love and fidelity to Thee!
If possible, receive Holy Communion today and make reparation to Our Lord and Saviour for past and present offenses against His Most Sacred Heart.

I, N.N., give and consecrate to the Sacred Heart of our Lord Jesus Christ my person and my life, my actions, penances, and sufferings, not wishing to make use of any part of my being for the future except in honouring, loving, and glorifying that Sacred Heart.
It is my irrevocable will to be entirely His, and to do everything for His love, renouncing with my whole heart whatever might displease Him.
I take Thee then, O most Sacred Heart, as the sole object; of my love, as the protector of my life, as the pledge of my salvation, as the remedy of my frailty and inconstancy, as the repairer of all the defects of my life, and as my secure refuge in the hour of death.
Be then, O Heart of goodness, my justification before God the Father, and remove far from me the thunderbolts of his just wrath. O Heart ot love, I place my whole confidence in Thee. While I fear all things from my malice and frailty, I hope all things from thy goodness.
Consume then in me whatever can displease or be opposed to Thee, and may thy pure love be so deeply impressed upon my heart that it may be impossible that I should ever be separated from Thee, or forget Thee.
I implore Thee, by all thy goodness, that my name may be written in Thee, for in Thee I wish to place all my happiness and all my glory, living and dying in very bondage to Thee.
Amen.

Prayer for Priests
O Jesus, eternal Priest, keep Thy priests within the shelter of Thy Sacred Heart, where none may touch them. Keep unstained their anointed hands, which daily touch Thy Sacred Body. Keep unsullied their lips, daily purpled with Thy Precious Blood. Keep pure and unearthly their hearts, sealed with the sublime mark of the priesthood. Let Thy holy love surround them and shield them from the world’s contagion. Bless their labors with abundant fruit and may the souls to whom they minister be their joy and consolation here, and in heaven their beautiful and everlasting crown. Amen.

FIRST SATURDAY of OCTOBER 💙
“See my daughter, how my heart is encircled by thorns with which ungrateful men pierce me at every moment by their blasphemies and ingratitude. You, at least, try to console me, and announce that I promise to assist at the hour of death, with the graces necessary for salvation, all those who on the First Saturdays of five consecutive months, confess, receive Holy Communion, recite part of My Rosary, and keep me company for a quarter of an hour, meditating on its mysteries with the intention of offering me reparation.” ~ Words of Our Lady to Sr. Marie (Lucia dos Santos) on December 10, 1925
If possible, make First Saturday devotions today, in reparation for offenses against the Immaculate Heart of Mary, as requested by Our Lady herself in 1925, and confirmed by Our Lord in 1927.

ACT of REPARATION to the
IMMACULATE HEART of MARY
Most holy Virgin and our Mother, we listen with grief to the complaints of thy Immaculate Heart surrounded with the thorns which ungrateful men place therein at every moment by their blasphemies and ingratitude. Moved by the ardent desire of loving thee as our Mother and of promoting a true devotion to thy Immaculate Heart, we prostrate ourselves at thy feet to prove the sorrow we feel for the grievances that men cause thee, and to atone, by means of our prayers and sacrifices, for the offenses with which men return thy tender love.
Obtain for them and for us the pardon of so many sins. A word from thee will obtain grace and amendment for us all.
Hasten, O Lady, the conversion of sinners, that they may love Jesus and cease to offend the Lord, already so much offended, and will not fall into hell.
Turn thine eyes of mercy towards us, that henceforth we may love God with all our hearts while on earth and enjoy Him forever in heaven. Amen.
