In many of these cases there was NO family on the receiving end. The mothers (or fathers) who had to give up their children (most thought it was temporary) thought their children were going to a legitimate family. What if there wasn’t a “legitimate” family?

While DeWine was State attorney general he was in charge of oversight of charities, as well as adoption agencies.
One of his duties, and the duties of his staff, was to make sure the charities/NGOs/Foundations/adoption agencies were properly registered and in compliant with the law.

Yesterday we shared that European Adoption Agency was stripped of their license back in 2016...while Mike DeWine was State Attorney General for Ohio.
The problem is...the Agency wasn’t complying with the law for a VERY LONG TIME, if ever!
Dewine had a duty to oversee these adoption agencies.
Not only did he have a duty...he had a duty to expose the issues that were coming to light with this agency.
Did he? NO
RATHER...he covered them up!!

As part of their punishment the EUROPEAN ADOPTION CONSULTANTS (EAC) had to write letters to all the families, who were using EAC for assistance in their process to adopt a child.
EUROPEAN ADOPTION CONSULTANTS had to pay each family restitution. Some family had paid tens of thousands of dollars.
Given that one would think there would be a lot of families clamoring for re-payment.

Longoria admitted that she and her co-conspirators (we will get to them in a sec) collected “bribes” disguised as fees to be paid to a Ugandan agent.
Longoria used these fees to bribe court registrars and Ugandan judges to corrupt and influence the adoption process.
Longoria also admitted that she and her co-conspirators falsified documents for submission to the U.S. State Department...to mislead it in its adjudication of visa applications for the Ugandan children being considered for adoption.
