I think Bitcoin dominance has already topped this cycle. Any bounce from here is just an opportunity to scoop strong alts vs BTC.

Short term, I wouldn’t be surprised to see BTC.D bounce. Either BTC dips and scares the market, or it rips into price discovery while alts lag. Both are fine.

Best case? BTC leads out of consolidation. That builds stronger, more sustainable rallies. If dominance spikes on weakness, it just means discounts on quality alts.

Looking into 2025, I expect BTC.D to trend lower. But not every alt will outperform—this cycle’s shown it’s mostly $ETH and a select few doing the heavy lifting. Stick with strength.

I’m holding ~20/80 BTC and alts. It’s a balance that fits the cycle and my risk tolerance. In the past I might’ve gone 100% alts here, but that’s only for those with conviction (or who don’t care about big drawdowns).
