文科省が昨年10月に発表したデータによれば2024年度に認知された「いじめ」の件数は76万9022件で、前年度から5%増加して過去最多を更新。いじめの態様では「冷やかしやからかい、悪口や脅し文句、嫌なことを言われた」が最多の58.5%を占めた。そんな中、長年社会問題とされてきた「いじめ」にあらたな問題が加わったという。
