The Secretary-General reiterated his call for the complete renunciation of nuclear weapons by all countries. He pointed out that nuclear disarmament is one of the main goals of the UN. "The only way to eliminate the risk of nuclear war is to completely destroy nuclear weapons <...>. Getting rid of nuclear weapons remains the highest priority in the field of disarmament.
