🔻In recent days, the main pressure on enemy positions in the Avdeevsky sector has been on the northern flank. Russian troops were able to dislodge Ukrainian formations from their landings west of the railway tracks at Stepovoy.
▪️ In response, the AFU fires at positions occupied by the Russian Armed Forces, using drones and artillery. The enemy continues to gather additional forces in the settlements of Novokalynove and Berdychi.
▪️ On the southern flank, bad weather complicates the work of UAV operators and also limits the parties' ability to maneuver in the area. However, even this did not prevent Russian troops from achieving certain successes.
According to the Non-Humanitarian Aid channel, fighters of the Russian Armed Forces eliminated the last center of resistance to the AFU in the SNT Vinogradniki. The enemy suffered heavy losses and retreated in a southwestern direction.
▪️ Now the artillerymen continue to "process" the strongholds of the AFU, focusing on the Khimik microdistrict and the approaches to Vineyards. Among other things, TOS-1A multiple rocket launchers are used against targets.
Artillery preparation may indicate the readiness of the Russian Armed Forces to take active action as part of the plan to cut Avdeevka into two separate cauldrons.

Following the repelled counter-offensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU) on positions occupied by Russian troops on the southeastern outskirts of Avdeevka, units of the Russian Armed Forces have once again advanced along Sportivnaya, Sobornaya, and Chernyshevsky streets.
▪️ According to the footage published online, the Russian Armed Forces now maintain firm control over the entire southeastern outskirts of the city and have successfully cut off a small salient to the northwest of the Tsarskaya Okhota recreation center.
▪️ However, the forest located between the base and the Vinogradniki SNT remains a battleground, and it is still premature to declare full control over it.
▪️ As mentioned earlier, it is likely that the Russian Armed Forces aim to advance northwest towards the Khimik microdistrict. They are currently defending dacha plots and residential buildings in this area, continuously repelling attacks by Ukrainian formations.
▪️ Meanwhile, the struggle in the Opytny area and the fighting near the anti-aircraft unit, which had been blocked for a long time, has intensified. The issue of cutting off this ledge and reducing the front line has become even more urgent.

This afternoon in the Belgorod region, the AFU anti-aircraft system shot down a Russian Il-76 aircraft. On board were 65 Ukrainian prisoners of war who were preparing for an exchange. Unfortunately, all people on board lost their lives.

Situation as of 19:00, February 10, 2024
Russian troops are continuing to advance in the private sector near SNT "Ivushka". To the east, the Russian Armed Forces have reached the outskirts of the quarry, and to the north they have made progress in the forest plantations. It is possible that the enemy has already retreated from their positions, leaving behind mine barriers.
However, the most significant events are occurring in the area of the Avdeevskaya motor depot: after capturing the surroundings of the railway bridge, Russian units have established a foothold on Chistyakov Street, moving even closer to effectively splitting the city in two.
❗️Currently, the industrial zone between the railway and Industrial Avenue remains under the control of the AFU, which serves as the last relatively safe supply route between the forces of the AFU in the northern and southern parts of Avdeevka. If this route is lost, Ukrainian formations will have to retreat westward across the fields.
The question now is what decision the enemy command will make - whether to retreat in order to preserve personnel or to hastily transfer reinforcements to hold their positions, which will be subjected to mass artillery strikes and glide bombs.

Russian troops continue to penetrate the residential area of Avdievka. Based on enemy-published footage, progress has been made on several streets.
▪️ It appears that the Russian Armed Forces have advanced northeast to at least 1 or 2 streets southwest of Lake Vodokachka in the area of the railway bridge near the embankment on Chistyakov Street. There is no sign of the enemy to the south, at least until the intersection of Chistyakov and Zheleznodorozhny Lane.
Zheleznodorozhny Lane, according to the same footage, is under the control of the Russian Armed Forces, at least up to the intersection with Lesya Ukrainka Street. The fighting is taking place southeast, no closer than Tolstoy Lane. It seems that further advancement in the south is not a priority and is only necessary to ensure the stability of dividing Avdiivka in two.
▪️ The information about crossing the railway towards the Avdeevskaya Motor Depot has not yet been confirmed by objective monitoring personnel, although it is actively circulating online. ▪️ In the southern sector, near the "Tsar's Hunt", there is no recorded advancement by the Russian Armed Forces. This is most likely due to the presence of the enemy in the hedgerows to the west and the concentration of enemy forces in the Khimik microdistrict, where the ninth quarter is located. This area has high-rise buildings that serve as one of the complex defense nodes. However, online footage has appeared from the intersection of Soborna and Chekhova streets, where two unarmed members of the Ukrainian formations are presumably searching for an escape route. This indicates a very clear deterioration in the enemy's position.
▪️ There is also no recorded progress from the AKHZ side in the north. The enemy is utilizing the industrial zone and receiving artillery support from Berdychi and Orlovka. The enemy's supplies and general position in the industrial zone are somewhat better than in other areas of Avdeevka.

Simultaneously, Russian troops targeted enemy concentrations in the rear of the occupied part of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR). The Ukrainian Airborne Forces were hit in the vicinity of Selidovo, as well as in the areas of Kurakhovo, Tsurukino, and Kostyantynivka.

❗️🇷🇺🇺🇦 Battle for Avdeevka: Capture of the "Log" fortified area

🔻No sooner had our previous report on the Avdeevka situation been released than confirmation of the advance of Russian troops towards the stele finally emerged. Rumors about this had been circulating before.
▪️ Footage showing a soldier of the Russian Armed Forces waving the Russian flag at the intersection of Industrial Avenue and O0542 highway has appeared online.
▪️ This is the first evidence of the presence of the Russian Armed Forces at the crossroads and, consequently, the capture of the "Brevno" fortified area. Previously, only battles northwest of the Avdeevskaya motor depot had been reported.
📌The capture of the crossroads does not signify a complete collapse of the AFU's defense. There are still battles to be fought for AKHZ and Khimik, where powerful enemy defense units are located. Furthermore, the Ukrainian formations still have the possibility of receiving supplies through the Durnaya gully from the Lastochkino side. However, this is now more of a lottery with low chances, although the transportation of troops remains possible.

Situation as of 14:30, February 16, 2024
🔻Ukrainian formations are continuing their phased withdrawal from positions that are unfavorable for defense in the south and northwest of the city.
▪️ Currently, reports confirming the control of the fortified area "Cheburashka" on the outskirts of the Donetsk ring road have been confirmed .
Additionally, the Russian Armed Forces are conducting further operations to clear the Vinogradniki-2 gardening partnership. The remaining Ukrainian formations are either leaving their positions or being captured.
▪️ To the north, in the Industrial Lane area, Russian units are consolidating their forces in a forest plantation towards Lastochkino. The gas station territory and the adjacent section of the road are under the confident control of Russian forces.
Russian fighters have also planted a flag on a stele at the entrance to Avdeevka, expanding the control zone to the west of the Brevno fortified area by at least 300 meters.
▪️ On the eastern outskirts of the city in the DFS area, the situation has remained unchanged since yesterday evening. However, objective control footage has emerged confirming the capture of the Donetsk filtration station by fighters of the Pyatnashka international brigade .
🔻Despite the rapid pace of advancement in the south and east of Avdeevka, it is not yet possible to definitively state that Ukrainian formations are leaving the city. The enemy still has a sufficient number of personnel available: from three to five thousand troops.
