In addition, Russian forces entered in the first buildings of Hrodivka & captured several trench systems until the southern outskirts of Novotoretske. Russian troops are now 13,2 Km from the city of Pokrovsk.

Russian soldiers left messages in a house in one of the villages of the Kursk region.
A local resident found them when she came back to her house to get some things. When she arrived the woman saw that the door was open. Her daughter told RT:
"She came into the house, the door was open. The rugs were carefully folded, everything was neat - the boys were afraid to trample on the carpet. There were two cups, they had drunk coffee. They found an old modem, and tried to connect. They went to the basement, took a couple of cans of preserves... They didn’t take anything with them, they didn’t damage anything in the house".
The soldiers also wrote down their call signs and hometowns - Kot from Murmansk, Zefir from Orenburg - and asked that if they died, their families be looked after.
