🗣 #ETH Vitalik explains how Ethereum plans to make crypto wallets as easy as email: An account abstraction (EIP-4337) that would allow seed phrases to be stored in smart contracts is "a pretty big deal." The idea is that users can receive any token, such as a stablecoin that is not Ethereum, with their wallet with a smart contract, and be able to pay gas fees without having to convert ETH.

This upgrade will unlock a number of features such as easy wallet recovery, unsigned transactions resulting in lower transaction fees.
