🕵️‍♂️🔓 #DYDX is up 130% since their unlock delay and 190% YTD. They were supposed to issue 15% of the total, which would double the amount of working capital.

The derivatives markets also responded well to the delay. Open interest has increased over 200% since the announcement.

The last unlock of this size, with a 50% distribution to investors, was #SAND last year. As a result, there was strong selling pressure in the days following.

Delaying the unlock for a year allows dydx to improve its tokenomics, namely the ability to share income with token holders. More importantly, the release of v4 on Cosmos can drown out the negative headlines associated with the unlock.
