Psalm 37 says to abstain from wrath and abandon anger.
Can a WARRIOR do this? — A warrior MUST do this.
Doing the job of a warrior requires CALM and FOCUS.
Serious force is being applied - the only proper attitude
is FOCUSED DETERMINATION.
Anger and hatred disturb focus and destroy judgment.
To do the job, a warrior must be PEACEFUL at heart.

I COULD go the other direction and spread FEAR (of more WAR casualties, or Iran threats to us here at HOME etc) and DOUBT— but those are just there. Certainly PART of the picture but they should NOT be the focus right now.
