Steve Hammer, local Republican Precinct Committeeman in Evansville, Indiana and local coordinator for Indiana Senator Mike Braun resigns immediately.

The issue surrounds Mr. Hammer openly supporting the Democratic Nominee for Evansville Mayor, Stephanie Terry.

Mr. Hammer originally supported Republican Evansville mayoral nominee, Cheryl Musgrave, during the primary, but when her opponent, Republican nominee, Natalie Rascher, secured the position, Mr. Hammer went rogue and violated Republican policies by endorsing a political opponent.

An investigation was initiated by the 8th District Republican Chairman, Brenda Goff, and Mr. Hammer immediately resigned from his political position.

Mr. Hammer should have remained silent if he did not support the Republican candidate selected by the voters.

This egregious act now requires a caucus of the Vanderburgh County Republican Party to assign a temporary Precinct Committeeman to Mr. Hammer's district. Perhaps, Mike Duckworth, will appoint me to the vacancy?

Brown County, Indiana is considering abandoning electronic voting and reinstating “Old Fashioned” paper ballots.

I attended the public hearing to observe and provide support for the community to take control of their local elections. Well done!

The video outlines a proposal regarding the cost savings to the County by eliminating the software licensing fees, equipment costs, and etc. and returning to paper ballots. Usually the argument is centered around the softwares ability to manipulate the results, chain of custody issues, fractional voting 🗳️ and many other anomalies, but instead the presenters focused on the cost savings.

Time will tell if Brown County will be leaders in the State of Indiana regarding election integrity.

The recent fires in California, Australia, and now Hawaii are unlike anything we’ve ever seen before. They are being called forest fires and wildfires, but they are clearly something very different. These fires are burning homes into a white powdery ash footprint while often leaving the surrounding green trees and shrubs practically untouched.
