Indiana State Comptroller Tera Klutz announces resignation, effective Nov. 30
Indiana State Comptroller Tera Klutz announced Thursday she will step down from her statewide elected office at the end of November, with about three years left in her final term in office.
Holcomb will appoint Klutz’s replacement, who will become the fourth consecutive person in that office to be appointed initially, rather than elected.
This is how the “system” is circumvented by “appointing” rather than “electing”. This is how many of our politicians, including Tim Obrien, Suzanne Crouch are our “handpicked” Representatives.
I question if Tera received a financial windfall for stepping down from her position; perhaps a large contribution to her retirement account or some other perk.

A statewide broadband program is helping eligible Hoosiers receive Internet access. The Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs’ Indiana Connectivity Program just awarded $550,108 in its latest round of awards to eligible Hoosiers for high-speed internet access.
