I know a lot of y’all have been wondering what happened to the long-term play I was talking about.
Well… it died.
Not because of the market. Not because there weren’t whales. The dev simply lacked experience and had zero understanding of how CT actually works.
First red flag? He created a cabal chat.
I’ve said this before and I’ll keep saying it: I hate cabal chats. Most KOLs in those groups aren’t builders, they’re farmers. They’re there for their allocation, their payment, and the exit liquidity.
We had around 25 people in there. Big names too—Izhan, Mayathous, Xander, Brother, One Marketing, Ryoshi, and a few others.
The coin was Midterm Elections.
He launched around a 100k MC while controlling a good chunk of the supply himself. I told him from day one this wasn’t an ATH speedrun type of narrative. It’s an election narrative. These are narratives you slowly build around, keep alive, and feed for weeks. That’s how you create conviction.
He didn’t listen.
Instead, he wanted to throw money at random Turkish X KOLs that couldn’t move a spoon across a table. Most of them bought $10 worth, posted a CA, disappeared, and called it marketing. He paid Mayathous, Xander, and a couple others too. They genuinely tried, but no amount of posting can fix a broken strategy.
The project spent roughly 120 SOL on marketing plus another 8% of the supply handed out to one-off call merchants.
And people wonder why CT is cooked.
Everyone blames the market.
I blame incompetence.
The funniest part is they actually had whales. Liquidity wasn’t the issue. Exposure wasn’t the issue.
The issue was nobody explained the damn narrative.
Every post looked exactly the same:
“Grabbed a bag.”
CA.
Chart.
DEX.
Cool… and then what?
Why should anyone care?
What’s the narrative?
Why does this exist?
Why will people still care next week?
Who else is talking about it?
None of those questions were answered. It was just a bunch of post merchants farming engagement before dumping their bags.
People think long-term holders are built by tweeting “I’m holding.”
They’re not.
Long-term holders are built by making people understand why they’re holding.
You don’t create conviction with a CA.
You create conviction with a story.
When people genuinely believe holding for months will outperform flipping a quick 2x, that’s when you’ve built something real.
That’s the difference between marketing and narrative building.
CT keeps crying about “bad market conditions.”

The market exposes weak execution.
Always has. Always will.
