⚠️ La familia Canido, dueños de la gaseosa Manaos, siguen arrasando bosques con total impunidad. Desde hace una década en 📍Santiago del Estero, vienen deforestando para realizar producción agropecuaria.

📌 En el año 2016, ya los habíamos denunciado pero mediante la comparación de imágenes satelitales entre agosto de 2022 y septiembre de 2024, nos encontramos que desmontaron 11.900 hectáreas en la estancia “Algarrobal Viejo”, ubicada a 45 kilómetros de Nueva Esperanza y 290 hectáreas en otra finca localizada a 10 kilómetros de Quimilí.

🗣️ “Los desmontes de la familia Canido amenazan la rica biodiversidad de la región; especies como el oso hormiguero, la corzuela, el pecarí, el loro hablador, y la tortuga terrestre se ven amenazadas. Además, se trata de la zona de pastoreo y uso del monte de comunidades campesinas. Convocamos a la gente a reclamar que paren de deforestar”, afirmó Noemí Cruz, Coordinadora de la campaña de Bosques de Greenpeace Argentina.
