RT @lluisbrotons: This week following the developments of #IPBES10 plenary from home… exciting results ahead for #InvasiveAlienSpecies assessment but also new developments for @IPBES such as #scenariosandmodels . Proud to be part of the collective challenge @CREAF_ecologia @observatori_nat
Last @IPBES plenary as technical support unit scenarios and models at @nlenvironagency (end of an era, after 10 years!) but will probably be back at next meetings to follow what’s going on. Will miss all the lovely people connected to ipbes in the meantime! 🥲 #IPBES10 - Machteld Schoolenberg

On World Beach Day 🏖️ 🌊we look at Baía do Sancho as seen by #Landsat 8. This beach on Fernando de Noronha is known as the "most beautiful beach in the world” with turquoise water and soft sand - and is a protective cove with an extraordinary oasis rich in flora and fauna. ☀️

There are more living organisms in 1 teaspoon of healthy #soil than there are people on Earth!

Safeguarding natural resources & #biodiversity is critical to people’s health & that of our planet too.
