The United States is preparing a $14 billion arms package for Taiwan, mainly including PAC-3 and NASAMS air-defense missiles.

The deal is reportedly ready for approval by Trump, but officials may wait until after his planned late-March trip to Beijing to meet China’s President Xi Jinping before announcing it.
