For a long time, we made serious efforts to ensure that disagreements were resolved through dialogue at the negotiating table.

Other countries in our region likewise did their utmost. However, the desired outcome could not be achieved, as the lack of trust between the parties could not be overcome and Israel continued its efforts to undermine the process.

We strongly condemn this morning’s attacks, which not only clearly violated Iran’s sovereignty but also targeted the peace and well-being of the friendly and brotherly Iranian people.

At the same time, we find Iran’s missile and drone attacks against our brotherly countries in the Gulf unacceptable, regardless of the reasons behind them.

If space is not created for diplomacy, our region risks being dragged into a ring of fire.
