Former CNN anchor Don Lemon was arrested Thursday night in Los Angeles while covering the Grammy Awards, his attorney said.

His lawyer said Lemon was taken into custody by federal agents, though the reason for the arrest has not been disclosed.

The Justice Department had previously vowed to charge Lemon after he reported on a protest at a church in St. Paul, Minnesota, last week.
