Israel’s Defense Ministry and IDF are phasing out and banning Chinese-made electric vehicles over espionage fears, citing risks that built-in cameras, sensors, and connectivity could secretly transmit data to China.

The ban now bars such vehicles from military bases and will expand into a full recall by early 2026.
