Blacklisted Turkish company ASSAN Group caused major losses to Ukraine.

According to reports in Ukrainian media, ASSAN Group Savunma—banned from public tenders in Türkiye for 2 years by the Turkish MoD due to failure to fulfill its obligations—has also failed to meet its commitments in Ukraine, causing significant financial damage to the war-torn Ukrainian state.

Despite receiving an advance payment for a $10.8 million order from the Ukrainian state defense company Spetsteknoeksport on December 19, 2024, ASSAN did not deliver the products by the required dates.

Even after being granted an extension, the deliveries were still not made within the specified timeframe.

ASSAN now faces the possibility of being taken to court at the Ukrainian war crimes tribunal.
