Russia Relocates Strategic Bombers to Far East

Russia has reportedly redeployed its Tu-160 and Tu-22M3 bombers to the Far East following Operation Pautina (Spider Web).

OSINT analyst AviVector reports Tu-160s were moved to Yelizovo (Kamchatka), Anadyr (Chukotka), and Borisoglebsk (near Kazan) from the Belaya Air Base.

Before the operation, 52 strategic bombers were based at Belaya.

Last week, 11 Tu-22M3s were transferred from Olenya to the Ukrainka airbase in Amur Oblast.

Netanyahu Falls Ill Mid-Testimony

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu fell ill during his June 11 corruption trial testimony, prompting the court to adjourn after just 30 minutes.

This marked the second trial interruption in a week—an earlier session was paused for a diplomatic call, amid courtroom protests.

Earlier in 2025, Netanyahu’s testimony was delayed due to illness after prostate surgery. The court had already adjusted his schedule with shortened sessions and breaks.

Chinese Jet Flies Within 45 Meters of Japanese Plane Over Pacific

A Chinese J-15 fighter jet from the aircraft carrier Shandong flew just 45 meters from a Japanese P-3C patrol plane over international waters in the Pacific, executing risky maneuvers including cutting across its path.

This was one of two close encounters that weekend—another J-15 shadowed a P-3C for 80 minutes.
