President Trump’s approval rating has dropped to 43%, the lowest since his return to office, according to a new Reuters/Ipsos poll.

• Approval down 2 points from late March, and 4 points below his post-inauguration high of 47%.

• Only 37% approve of his economic performance; just 30% back his response to rising living costs.

• 52% believe new auto tariffs will harm people around them.

• One-third, mostly Republicans, disagree that tariffs are harmful.
