A Long March-7A carrier rocket, carrying the Shijian-23 satellite, blasted off at 6 a.m. (Beijing Time) from the Wenchang Spacecraft Launch Site in the southern island province of Hainan. The satellite successfully entered its planned orbit.

A C919 airliner, China's first homegrown large jetliner, landed at Meilan International Airport in Haikou City, south China's Hainan Province, on January 2 as part of its 100-hour validation flight process.

This testing process will comprehensively verify the airliner's reliability, with commercial operation in consideration, to ensure its safety and efficiency and provide good flight experience for passengers.

It is the first time that China's civil aviation transport market has a self-developed mainline jetliner.

China has acquired a Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) container refueling ship with mobile tanks, making it a new mode of ship refueling.

With these tank containers, the two 5,000-tonne LNG-powered container ships on Tuesday set sail on the southern stretch of the Grand Canal, which connects Beijing and Hangzhou in east China's Zhejiang Province.
