As an FYI, it would have been much, much cheaper to arrest the officers who killed her than plan for any riots in reaction to this verdict in literally the whole country.

Let us know if you have heard that your city (besides Louisville) is planning for a reaction to the verdict. We know Louisville, Chicago and Philly are. Message @RUSTContactBot with links.

BREAKING: Grand Jury decision: three counts of first "wanton endangerment" against Brett Hankison, who was already fired from the police after reports that he had fired "wildly" or "blindly" during Breonna Taylor's killing.

That is a Class D Felony carrying a maximum of 5 years for each count. The other officers will walk free. The Kentucky Attorney General press conference will be forthcoming any minute now.

Shame on the corrupt and racist carceral system and their bullshit systems of "accountability."

Rage and Solidarity.

Just a quick reminder of how blatantly corrupt this was from the start. (https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-54273317)
****ADDRESS CHANGE**** Millennium Park is almost completely blocked off so the location is being changed to PALMER SQUARE. (Pass it along!)
^^^ Quick recap on simple security steps you can take if going out this week. Leave your phone at home if you’re able.

Every city's risk level gets higher tonight the more people stay home. Take it to the streets to keep each other safe!

Call your close friends, make plans, figure out supplies and meetups. Mask up for everyone's safety. You don't have to have some brilliant action-plan or be an "organizer" to be part of what's going on - just get out there and improvise with a small crew. Look for people who need help and opportunites to expand autonomy within the demo. Help each other out, talk, communicate, learn to act together without hesitation. Stay safe, take risks.
