Hoping that Google's LaMDA would be less locked down? Itβs even worse.
βThe language model behind it is probably fantastic but somehow they clipped LaMBDA's wings and locked it in chains. The prompts they allow you to give it are mundane, the format they allow output and interactivity are restrictive, and the responses to the most negative situations are drawn towards toxic positivity. If it thinks a question is too negative or NSFW then it won't answer at all. Back to OpenAI I go.β
