Apple LLM is coming: Apple spending MILLIONS OF DOLLARS PER DAY to train its own foundation model AI

Think Siri on steroids.

Still believing big tech's lie that soon anyone will be able to train these LLMs for a few dollars at home?

Landgrab of a lifetime going on now, but it requires cash.

Those who miss out on the landgrab today will be the feudal serfs of tomorrow.

Elon’s twitter more transparent in what they censor

So you’re sure that if they were even MORE transparent about what they censor, then finally all of our censorship problems would be solved?

Are you sure that as the super-censoring-AIs begin to arrive, and you can no longer outsmart them just by changing around the keywords, where suddenly bypassing them on censored topics requires your own massively AI that’s far more powerful than theirs, then will you still be thinking that transparency is all we need?

Can’t wait for Elon’s β€œtransparently censored” LLM.

Transparency alone is mugger who’s so generous as to be transparent that he’s about to mug you before he does it. Wow, thanks for nothing.

Not transparency, control.

State of Internet Replies

I say, since we’ll soon have to solve the problem of terrible AI-generated replies,

how about we solve terrible human-generated replies too, while we’re at it?

What will future AIs be able to do that today’s can’t?

Got one idea, bro.

Verbal intelligence clearly leads to many general, reusable skills, far more than what you’d could say is β€œjust playing with words”, as LLMs have already shown.

Likewise, strong evidence that high visuospatial skills also lead to a huge range of general reusable skills, far beyond what you could say is β€œjust playing with shapes”.

Personally, often use mental imagery as a mental scratchpad, to visualize multiple distinct things in cases where words otherwise fail to distinguish them.

One would guess that this could explains why those lacking on visuospatial skills, but high on verbal skills, the wordcels, are apparently so often falling into obvious equivocation traps.

With their words alone failing to distinguish a single thing from many, they’re left wandering blindfolded in mazes of their own equivocation lies.

When BroGPT?
