(1) you.com pages suddenly showing up in Google search results
(2) and these you.com result pages aren’t so good at all, worse than google’s, no special AI used on them yet, just keyword-matching links
(3) and this is all in direct violation to google’s long-standing rules against auto-generated pages, particularly those that are directly competing against google’s own search results pages
(4) Big tech is horribly incompetent at building anything new in-house, woke bureaucratic incompetance is all they can do, must instead acquire every big new thing from external startups. Even when they have semi-success with in-house products, they still fail in the end, e.g. Google Video vs Youtube.
= Google giving you.com a free pass on the rules, to pump them up, to have a backup plan once their in-house solutions fail horribly.
