ERC404 issues and SJ741 Emerald (in short):

1. ERC404: is hybrid standard (unofficial) that aim to create a single contract that can act as both a fungible (ERC20) and non-fungible token (NFT-ERC721).

The approaching to ERC404 issue is the exploit and changing standard .

At for now, there are some other prjojects that aim to fix that issue by using 2 contracts, a base ERC20 contract (token) and a mirror ERC721 contract (NFT).

2. In case of SJ741 Emerald: a public demonstration in single-contract dual-token implementations with zero-conflict events, and function overloading.

SJ741 Emerald is kinda a “prototype” of Secrec dev (https://twitter.com/serecthunderson) who claims it could work without conflict (solve the issue above).
He is trying hard but still, he warned that this could be risk since it’s new.
