👁ERC404 and Pandora: I'm writing this post in simple terms since many people have mentioned it to me (There are a lot of detailed threads out there if you're interested).

✔️1. ERC404:
We have ERC20 (you know what it is) and ERC721 (which is NFTs).
ℹ️In short: ERC404 = ERC20 + ERC721.

ERC-404 creatively mixes elements from the ERC-20 and ERC-721 standards.

“This aspect of the concept's design is deliberate, with the goal of creating an NFT that has native fractionalization, liquidity, and encourages some aspects of trading/engagement to farm unique trait sets,” the standard’s GitHub page reads.

✔️2. Pandora: is the first project built on the ERC-404 standard, offers 10,000 ERC-20 tokens and 10,000 associated “Replicant” NFTs.

1 pandora token represents 1 NFT.

ℹ️If you have 1 Pandora token on your wallet: a NFT will be minted there.
- If you sell the token: the NFT will be burned;
- If you transfer the token to a new wallet: the old NFT will be burned and will be re-minted at the Receiver wallet. The change of rarity may also follow. So if you are not happy with your rarity, change it.

📌Anyway: ERC404 may become a game changer but it is currently unaudited, meaning it may potentially have vulnerabilities that haven’t yet been discovered and this is NFA.
