US cavalrymen pose in front of a tree known as the "Grizzly Giant" in the early 1900's. The Grizzly Giant is a giant sequoia, the largest in the Mariposa Grove, located in Yosemite National Park. The tree is estimated around 3000 years old and still stands and looks almost the same today.
