Many years ago I talked to acupuncturist about this, who said the heart can't pump the blood mechanically around the body, the pressures it would take doesn't add up.

He said Chinese scientists theorized the blood was actually propelled via the vascular system by electromagnetic force, like a maglev train and this always stuck with me.

I believe the reason this is hidden from us is because, if we study our heart, vortex energy generator, we would likely quite quickly find out how to generate free energy from vortexes as Viktor Schauberger was doing.
