People are passing around a petition filed with the Supreme Court a while ago, so I wanted to take a quick second and explain what it is.

It's a petition for a writ of certiorari, and the Supreme Court will summarily deny it.
It just means the claimant filed an appeal over the tenth circuit court's ruling.
The Supreme Court will never take this case though. These things are filed all the time over innumerable issues, and never actually heard by the S.C.
A record of the filing of a petition for a writ of certiorari is like having a receipt form for a complaint filed against a lower court's ruling.
The Court will not grant this case.

Musk Says ‘Hate Tweets’ Will Be ‘Deboosted & Demonetized’
Musk announced a change to the company's content moderation policy, promising that the site will promote freedom of speech but also minimize how many users see hate speech and how many advertisements appear alongside it.
"New Twitter policy is freedom of speech, but not freedom of reach," Musk said. "Negative/hate tweets will be max deboosted & demonetized, so no ads or other revenue to Twitter," he added. "You won’t find the tweet unless you specifically seek it out, which is no different from rest of Internet."

Bankman-Fried and his co-founders at FTX contributed $300,351 to nine members of the House Financial Services Committee, according to Federal Election Commission records. Some of the largest contributions were to Democrats on the committee’s Digital Assets Working Group, which worked on regulation of the crypto industry. Rep. Maxine Waters (D., Calif.), who chairs the committee, announced a probe this week into FTX’s collapse after the company declared bankruptcy, wiping out billions of dollars in customers’ portfolios.

San Francisco: A stunning foot chase and arrest on Highway 101 in San Francisco is showcasing the problem of auto burglaries in the city.
SFPD received at least six calls in a three-hour period on Nov. 11 alerting them to the same getaway vehicle. Officers spotted the car in the area of Market and Octavia, and followed - only for the suspects, one with a firearm - to pull over and flee on foot. That's when officers started running.
Year to date through Sept., auto burglaries are up 12% in San Francisco.
