🇸🇩🇪🇬🇹🇷⚔️🇸🇩🇦🇪 We now have proof of Egypt striking RSF convoys in north-western Sudan

As I reported earlier, Egypt has been quietly striking RSF supply convoys sent by the UAE through Chad or Libya. For this purpose, they are using Turkish drones (unclear who is operating them) from a base in south-western Egypt, East Oweinat.

The Egyptians are letting the SAF use its East Oweinat airbase and strike the RSF using Turkish Akinci drones which are far better than the Bayraktar TB2 drones, with bigger range and more payload.

The New York Times reports that there has been non-stop activity at the East Oweinat airbase with Turkish cargo planes landing several times/week delivering drones, bombs & other equipment.

This reason, plus the closure of multiple regional airspace had one very important consequence : the large diminution of cargo planes flying from the UAE to Libya or Chad (only 20 this month against around 70 previous months), which means less supplies to the RSF.

This is why the UAE has recently been willing to open a new route through Ethiopia. The UAE has been arming the RSF with Chinese jammers and anti-drone weapons, managing to shoot down at least 4 Akinci drones in the past 4 months.

🇮🇷🕊🇺🇸 Spokesman of the Iranian MFA, Esmail Baghaei, stated that the Iranian MFA is "analysing" the proposal of Turkey, Qatar and Egypt for renewing negotiations with the Americans but that a decision in this regard has not been taken yet.

Reports that Tehran has agreed to resume peace negotiations are false.

🇺🇸🇸🇦 There’s a new U.S. Army base called Logistical Support Area (LSA) Jenkins in Saudi Arabia that’s been expanding recently. It’s on the Red Sea at 24.22619° N, 38.24876° E facing Egypt rather than Iran & hence its outside the range of Iranian SRBMs (unlike…
🇺🇸🇸🇦 New imagery reveals major expansion at the U.S. Army Logistical Support Area in Yanbu, Saudi Arabia, known as L.S.A. Jenkins.

Since early last year, the facility has added bunkers, ammo storage, new logistics and support infrastructure, and expanded living quarters for troops.

L.S.A Jenkins is far away from the Persian Gulf and by extension, Iran's large stocks of short range missiles.

L.S.A. Jenkins began being expanded before the outbreak of the 12 Day War in June 2025 and is meant to replace the Al Udeid airbase in Qatar which is far too vulnerable to Iranian attacks.

🇨🇳⚓️🇺🇸 The Economist: “China plans…six new aircraft-carriers before 2035. That…would see China building aircraft-carriers at more than twice the clip of America…America also plans to retire three…By 2035 America will have 11 such vessels to China’s nine.”

“A bigger question is why China wants so many carriers. In debates about the future of America’s carrier fleet, some Western analysts say…anti-ship missiles and drone warfare…have made them obsolete. But China appears to be ignoring such talk.”

“In a fight with America over Taiwan, carriers might be less useful. After all, Taiwan is well within range of airbases on the Chinese mainland. China’s carrier plans, then, point to much broader ambitions.”

“Aircraft-carriers would be particularly valuable in protecting shipping bound for China, and stanching the maritime trade of adversaries in the event of war. ‘These are power-projection platforms for achieving sea control,’

❗️🇺🇸/🇮🇷/🇹🇷 NEW: After mediation from Turkey, Axios reports that Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi will meet U.S. Special Envoy Steve Witkoff in Istanbul this Friday

Sources tell MES that a final decision to attend has not been made, as the Foreign Ministry has not yet gotten approval from the SNSC (which decides such matters).

The same sources also stated that any negotiations would be purely about Iran's nuclear program; discussing ballistic missiles or support for Hezbollah and other regional groups is out of the question for the Iranians.

🇩🇰 🇵🇦 🇨🇳 Shipping giant Maersk to take over Panama Canal ports after court ruling

Danish shipping firm Maersk will temporarily take over two Panama Canal ports after a court ruled the current contract held by Hong Kong-based CK Hutchison was unconstitutional. The decision followed pressure from US President Donald Trump, who claimed the canal was being controlled by China. Maersk replaces CK Hutchison, which had operated the ports since 1997. Panama maintains control of the canal, which handles significant global trade traffic.

🕵‍♂️📍I was able to more precisely geolocate the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN-72), and IRGC Drones seem to be flying over Trump's Armada.

✈️ CMV-22B reg 169453 took off from Duqm and disappeared around 09H30UTC

Same CMV-22B leaves the aircraft carrier and appears at 11H23UTC

It leaves less than two hours to land, do whatever they have to do, and take off again. Cannot be further than this area due to speed.

Bonus: The path of the Iranian Shahed-129 type drone today, definitely visually sighting the aircraft carrier.
