🇮🇪 WOW!! Two government ministers just admitted the Irish hate speech bill is dead in the water. Sinn Féin also recently flipped their stance on the bill, coming out against it. People power has prevailed. A year ago when Elon Musk, Trump jr. and others…

🇮🇪 Keith Woods on X: When I was restored on here in April 2023, one of the first issues I highlighted was Ireland's hate speech law.

At that point, it had already passed our first house unopposed and looked an absolute certainty to become law.

After the post below blew up with support from Elon Musk it ignited a national debate on the bill in Ireland for the first time in its long legislative history.

Eventually, the popular backlash became so great that the government dropped it. Just a year prior, no one even thought there was a possibility of this happening.

Yesterday, the government pledged to ignore a demand from the EU to implement hate speech laws.

This is a massive win for Ireland and everyone who played their part pushing back against what would have been one of the most tyrannical speech bills in the West.

Never let people tell you what we do here doesn't matter.

🇺🇸 Explosion rocks key US Military explosives manufacturer Advanced Energetic Systems (AES). This comes after AES was awarded a $120 Million contract to produce TNT for the US Department of War. Time will tell how much this setback effects the already struggling…
🇺🇸💥 Accurate Energetic Systems (AES) is a manufacturer of TNT for the DoD.

They also make anti-personnel mines, shaped charges, and components for artillery shells. Two weeks ago they signed a contract to produce TNT as part of a larger deal to increase production of 155mm artillery shells.

This single contract is worth more than every other contract they've ever signed with the DoD, combined

This is happening in conjunction with a new contract given to Rheinmetall to produce 155mm shells for "an unnamed Eastern European country." The shells AES was contracted to deliver were likely headed to Ukraine.

AES appears to be the primary (or perhaps only) US "manufacturer" of TNT for artillery shells. It isn't clear how much of their TNT is imported from overseas. Last year the army awarded a $435m contract to build the first large scale TNT plant on US soil since the 1980s.

The new plant isn't due to come online until the end of 2028.

155mm shell production was already low and tenuous before the McEwen munitions plant blew up. Ukrainian president, Vladimir Zelensky has pressed NATO countries for the past three years to increase the production of 155mm shells as the Ukrainian army was in a constant state of shell hunger being outmatched by Russia in artillery and firepower.

In February 2025, Ukrainian medias estimated that Russia fired up to 10.000 shells a day while Ukraine fired 2.000 shells/day. In 2024, the Congress allocated 6.4 billion USD to the U.S. Army's budget strictly to increase 155mm shell production. Plans were to increase the production rates from 14.000 shells/year to 40.000 shells/year.

What went unsaid – at least initially – was that the West had already been experiencing procurement issues with 155mm shells even prior to the war. In the year between summer 2014 and fall 2015, the US produced precisely zero shells due to the mismanagement of manufacturing plants. In 2021, cracks had been discovered in shells coming off the line at an American facility.

Over $100 million had been wasted on trying and failing to update the explosive used by the Army for their shells. And the materials used to make them came from all over the world, including China and facilities in eastern Ukraine currently controlled by the Russians.

As he made his tours, Amadee told Reuters, he came across problems he found absurd. In Tennessee, he walked the floor of a new but idled $147 million factory built for use in the explosives process. Parts of the plant were literally gathering cobwebs, he recalled.

In Pennsylvania, he toured a dilapidated shell-casing factory first used for the Korean War. It had been lightly used by the military for years in the mid-2010s and was now limping along with no significant upgrades funded. In Iowa, he was briefed on manufacturing flaws, including cracked 155mm shells, that shut down one production line for months. And in Virginia, he visited a $399 million construction project running a decade behind schedule, significantly over budget and still struggling to produce the propellant needed to launch the 155mm shell.

🇷🇺🇺🇦 On Russian Strikes Targeting Ukrainian Gas Infrastructure

Over the past week, Russian forces have massively increased their missile campaign against Ukrainian energy infrastructure. A strike on October 3rd targeted gas production facilities in Poltava and Kharkov with 35 missiles and at least 60 long-range drones. Bloomberg reported that the damage to these two sites has brought around 60% of the country’s gas production offline.

The Ukrainians are planning to increase their gas imports over the winter by 30% to compensate, importing at least 4.4 billion cubic meters over the season, equivalent to $2.2 billion, or 20% of the country’s typical annual consumption. This figure is likely to rise.

So where does this leave Ukraine, especially if Russian strikes continue? Ukraine relies on gas principally for heating. The share of gas used for residential homes, larger district-level heating stations, and industrial/commercial use is roughly equal. 78% of Ukrainian households depend on gas as their primary heat source.

Industrial concerns use between 1 bcm (billion cubic meters) and 6 bcm of gas a quarter depending on the season, and 11% of Ukraine’s electricity generation comes from gas power plants. Ukraine’s total gas consumption is around 20 bcm annually.

The Ukrainian government projects that it will import 5.8 bcm of pipeline gas this year, more than twice what it imported pre-war, despite massive reductions in population and falling consumption. Around half of this gas transits through Hungary, with another quarter of the total through Poland, an additional quarter through Slovakia, and insignificant amounts through Romania and Moldova.

These pipelines once carried Russian gas through Ukraine to Europe, generating billions in transit fees for the Ukrainians, but this agreement fully terminated at the beginning of this year. Since then, these pipelines operate in “reverse flow," sending gas backwards through mostly Soviet-era infrastructure to Ukraine.

While the transit agreement was in effect, the Ukrainians were able to take advantage of a complex scheme whereby they imported Russian gas from Gazprom while simultaneously “buying” it from EU sellers without it ever physically moving gas through the seller’s infrastructure. This allowed them to save significantly on transportation fees.

With the transit agreement now terminated, Ukraine is no longer strategically placed between Russia and its former customers in the EU, making Ukraine’s gas storage facilities (the largest in Europe) inconvenient to access. The only way to fill these facilities for EU countries is now an expensive round trip from central Europe to Ukraine and back again, with corresponding transit fees, making Ukraine an economically infeasible option for EU gas storage.

With a restoration of Russian relations with the EU looking increasingly unlikely, and the Ukrainians refusing to allow the transit of Russian gas through their territory, the Ukrainian gas network has gone from a central node in a vast Eurasian web to a distant peripheral spur. Its infrastructure serves little purpose now besides meeting its own modest, domestic needs.

The EBRD announced an emergency financing deal in response to the October 3rd attack, but this program will need to be put into place with unprecedented speed. It comes on the heels of another €500 million loan for gas purchases in August, also classified as an “emergency.” Attempting to fill Ukraine’s reserves now, as extraction season begins, will cost Ukraine (or, realistically, the EU) almost twice what it would in the summer.

Repairing the damage caused by Russian strikes this year is an additional hurdle. At least $180 million in funding is required to repair the damage that has already been done earlier this year. Total needed repairs to the Ukrainian grid are estimated to cost at least $878 million. Gas infrastructure components are highly specialized and not mass produced.

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇬🇧 Scottish Councillor reported to the Police for saying she was 'born and bred' in Falkirk

I wish I was joking
We live in a police state

TWENTY TWO PAGE POLICE DOSSIER FILED FOR 'OFFENSIVE REMARKS'

She will now be questioned by Police

The complaint reads:

'The complaint claims that Mackie-Brown’s “born and bred” comment could be considered “insulting to asylum seekers by implying their lesser legitimacy”. This, it was argued, could be considered a breach of Public Order Act 1986 under offences for “intentionally causing harassment, alarm or distress”.

It also argues that the comment is “exclusionary” and “discriminatory” which, it is claimed, could constitute a breach of the requirements on councillors to avoid language which could “reasonably be perceived” to be discriminatory.

The complaint said: “The phrase ‘born and bred’ carries specific connotations in immigration discourse, particularly when contrasted with the presence of asylum seekers.

🇪🇺🤝🏳️‍🌈 The European Commission launched earlier today its LGBT equality strategy 2026-2030 ! The goal is to make LGBT people feel "included" and "not discriminated" in society. Every EU member is now obligated to mail to the Commission their national plan…
🇪🇺🤝🏳️‍🌈 The European Commission wants state enforced homosexuality!

The following thread will cover the parts that stood out of the LGBT inclusion strategy the Commission wants to enforce in all 27 members of the EU:

🔶 The strategy begins by establishing that homosexuals need to be "safe, free and their authentic selves" of course, presented as a necessary step in achieving the utopian ideal of making humans equal to one another.

🔶 First important observation: despite the EU being obsessed with showcasing Africans, Arabs and Asians on their official websites and documents to pretend that they are Europeans just like everyone else, this document doesn't have a single non-White person on its cover.

🔶 They cite and OECD report claiming that discrimination against homosexuals causes financial losses and shrinks the holy GDP and we must increase this GDP, at all costs. They also claim that discrmination against homosexuals leads to "loss of social cohesion" and "erodes democracy". Would they say the same about migrants, legal or illegal? Of course not.

🔶 While some would like to argue that what the hippie generation produced 60 years ago in social sciences was nonsense without real consequences, this document proves otherwise. They treat that nonsense like science, ""Will use Intersectionality as a cross-cutting principle"

🔶 Further in the document, the justification for making homosexuality a desired lifestyle is because.. the Nazis persecuted and killed a bunch of them during WW2.

🔶 The LGBT inclusion strategy puts a strong emphasis on teaching law enforcement agencies to punish those who make the homosexuals feel harmed. Ultimately, the goal is for every police precinct in the EU to have a homosexual commissar ready to throw into jail the first homophobe he catches.

🔶 Right after they speak of the need to teach law enforcement to prosecute homophobes, the EU emphasizes the need to spend tens of billions on pro-LGBT NGOs to disseminate the LGBT ideology in schools, newspapers, internet etc.

🔶 Cyberbullying against homosexuals is one of the worst "crimes" a citizen of the EU can commit according to the strategy. The document says the European Commission will brainstorm into the future new definitions for cyber hate crimes against homosexuals so that people on social media will stop being mean to them. Goes hand in hand with the EU's chat control tool which wants to end anonymity so they can prosecute anyone who is mean to their precious degenerates.

🔶 Homosexuals "must be empowered" since infancy if possible. The document says that children should be educated in "inclusive environments" where homosexuality is on full display so as to never become ashamed of their "real" feelings.

🔶 The LGBT agenda will become an indispensable part of all the policies of the European Union, from agriculture, to health, to economy to defense.
