British lawmakers voted Friday to legalize assisted dying — a final step in the House of Commons that means the practice will almost certainly be permitted in England and Wales in the coming years, marking a pivotal societal change.
Lawmakers voted 314 to 291 for legalization following an impassioned, four-hour debate. Modeled on a law in Oregon, the Terminally Ill Adults (End of Life) Bill will allow terminally ill people to choose to die. Those with less than six months to live will be permitted to seek lethal medication from the National Health Service, subject to approval of two doctors and a panel of experts.

President Trump said Friday it would be difficult for Israel to stop strikes on Iran at this point, a week into the intense conflict between the two nations and two weeks out from the president’s decision on U.S. involvement.
“I think it’s very hard to make that request right now,” he said when pressed about the Iranian foreign minister saying that the U.S. would call on Israel to stop airstrikes if Trump is serious about negotiations.
“If somebody is winning, it’s a little bit harder to do than if somebody is losing, but we’re ready, willing and able, and we’ve been speaking to Iran, and we’ll see what happens. We’ll see what happens,” Trump added.
The president also said he might support a ceasefire but continued, “it’s very hard to stop when you look at it — Israel’s doing well in terms of war, and I think you would say that Iran is doing less well.”

In what stands as her "Collin Powell WMD moment" Gabbard testified in Congress claiming that Iran is a "threat" to the U.S. and its allies and that the U.S. must act now to prevent Iran from getting a nuclear weapon because Israel's behaviour has convinced the Iranians that getting a nuclear bomb is the only option securing their survival.

🇺🇸 🛫 ❗️ 💥 — The US is currently moving all airworthy B-2 stealth bombers currently not under maintenance to bases near Iran this morning. Most are currently flying over the Pacific

Several Israeli military sources told CNN they believe Trump's talk of "waiting for a change in attitude" from Tehran is "smoke and mirrors" to keep the Iranians guessing as to when the American attack may come.

1. Immediate refueling after departing from Whiteman Air Force Base indicates that the aircraft are carry close to their maximum payload.
If not an immediate strike, it is highly likely that the ordnance would have be pre-positioned at Guam or Diego Garcia with C-5 or C-17 transport aircraft in order to save the logistical headache of the additional aerial refueling and airframe stress.
2. If the B-2s continue onward to Iran they will arrive on target a few hours prior to opening of the Futures market at 6PM ET Sunday. This will give the Trump administration time to host a press briefing to calm the markets before they open.
3. KC-135 and KC-46 aircraft have been pre-positioned around the world at the exact bases that would enable the world’s longest (and first circumnavigation) bombing mission. I fully suspect this record would be something that would appeal to Trump.
4. Not launching from Diego Garcia means that the U.S. is not legally required to inform Mauritius of the strike as part of their lease agreement.
