🇺🇸 🇸🇦 🇵🇸 🇸🇾Israeli outlet 301 reports Saudi meeting with Trump focus to be on recognition of a Palestinian state

Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has organized a four-way meeting between himself, President Trump, Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa, and Lebanese President Joseph Aoun, in the Saudi capital of Riyadh during Trump's visit.

Possible other discussions to come up include the repealing of the CAESAR Act.

➡️ The CAESAR Act is an AIPAC-backed ✡️ crippling sanctions bill passed by Congress in 2019 which completely wiped out of the Syrian economy and froze the Assad government's ability to wage large-scale offensive operations

Now that the Assad government is gone, EU and Gulf leaders have been urging for the repeal of sanctions to finance Syria's reconstruction.

🔶 Syria and Turkey have agreed on a deal wherein Turkey will supply Syria with 6 million cubic meters of natural gas daily through the Kilis-Aleppo pipeline within the next three months.

🔶 In addition, Turkey is currently providing approximately 200 megawatts of electricity to Aleppo and plans to increase this supply to between 700 and 800 megawatts in the coming months.

🔶 This comes after years of extensive Turkish military and financial support for Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS), the victors and current rulers of Syria.

China came out in open support of Pakistan

USA came, ordered #ceasefire , took crsdit [sic] and left

No country officially came out and supported India unconditionally, not even Russia or Israel.

India's international diplomacy has become all about gathering NRIs and asking them to chant Modi-Modi.

Time to seriously rebuild and introspect.

🇮🇳⚡️🇵🇰 - The New Normal in South Asia?

Oh, and btw, those militants India claims to have hit in Pakistan? Let's take that Indian claim at face value. For the argument's sake, let's assume that everyone killed in Pakistan in the initial Indian attack was a militant (we know for a fact that isn't true).

Let me assure you that the jihadists must have already made up for that by recruiting 10 times more than that number in a week. The Indian attack itself will be used as an argument for recruitment.

So, losing multiple jets, getting your bases attacked deep inside India, putting your pilots at risk of being captured by Pakistan, that all is supposed to be worth it because you took out a dozen or two jihadists and struck some empty structures? And while you are still fighting it out with Pakistan, something else goes down in Nagrota and you have to cover it up because what other choice do you have?

Yeah, India will be thinking a hundred times before trying to pull off something like this in the future, without at least significantly improving its capabilities first.

The Indian govt knows what exactly is the new normal. It's just that they have no face to explain it to their gullible people.

We await a full and lasting ceasefire, starting from tomorrow, to provide the necessary basis for diplomacy.

There is no point in prolonging the killings.

And I will be waiting for Putin in Türkiye on Thursday.

Personally.

I hope that this time the Russians will not look for excuses.

🇺🇸🇺🇸🤝🇮🇷🇮🇷🎤 Fox News | GOP senators: Congress should vote on Trump's potential Iran nuclear deal | 'If they want the most durable and lasting kind of deal, then they want to bring it to the Senate' | May 8, 2025:

"A pair of hawkish, Trump-supporting Senate Republicans say that any "lasting" Iran nuclear deal would need to be approved by Congress, ideally through a two-thirds majority treaty vote.

But scoring a two-thirds majority in the Senate for treaty ratification would require Iran to fulfill a series of steep demands. In addition to getting rid of all of its enriched uranium and centrifuges, GOP lawmakers say it would need to dismantle its ballistic missile program and cease all support for terrorist groups across the Middle East.

"If they want the most durable and lasting kind of deal, then they want to bring it to the Senate and have it voted on as a treaty," Sen. Tom Cotton, R-Ark., said in response to a question from Fox News Digital."

The E.U. is going to spend 600 million euros to "attract American gender- and climate-scientists who were fired due to Trump's policies".

At least we will still be producing papers about "the pivotal role of transgender sexworkers in fighting climate change" when our last factories shut down 🥲

🇨🇳🇵🇰🇦🇫 - China, Pakistan, Taliban Forge Bloc to Limit India’s Role in Afghanistan

China, Pakistan, and the Taliban have agreed to expand trilateral cooperation, including extending the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) into Afghanistan, as part of a broader strategy to reduce India’s footprint in the country.
The agreement was reached during a closed-door meeting in Kabul over the weekend, attended by Taliban Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi, China’s Special Envoy Yue Xiaoyong, and Pakistan’s Special Representative Mohammad Sadiq.

📝 Forum:
I think that's Nepal, Bangladesh, and now Afghanistan moving away from India in as many years. Well, I guess Afghanistan was not really close to India, but I was under the impression that India was cultivating the relationship as a counterbalance to Pakistan.

I wonder how much the Hindutva stuff is poisoning foreign relations in a region where most others are Muslims and Buddhists.

🇬🇧- NEW: UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer calls for the UK to take back its borders, says the UK is becoming an “island of strangers” and immigrants should learn how to speak English.

“Without [strict rules], we risk becoming an island of strangers, not a nation that walks forward together.”

“So when you have an immigration system that seems almost designed to permit abuse … then you're not championing growth, you're not championing justice, or however else people defend the status quo.”

“You're actually contributing to the forces that are slowly pulling our country apart. So, yes, I believe in this. I believe we need to reduce immigration significantly.”
