Lee Kuan Yew abolished trial by jury in Singapore, citing the persistent influence of racial and ethnic bias in jurors’ decisions in a multi-racial society. With Singapore’s diverse population, comprising significant Chinese, Malay, and Indian populations, LKY said that “tribal loyalties override impartial judgment”, making jury trials incompatible with true justice.

Many of the same reasons underpinned his explanation of why liberal democracy will not work in multi-racial societies, observing: “In multi-racial societies, you don’t vote in accordance with your economic interests and social interests, you vote in accordance with race and religion.”

📝: “Wait, what in the world is this? Black and minority ethnic jurors are so anti-White biased that they are useless as jurors?”

🇺🇸 🤝 🇵🇸Hamas confirms ongoing direct talks with the US

We want the detainees returned, but Israel doesn't want to end the war.

Remarked Steve Witkoff, Trump's Special Envoy, in an interview live on Israeli Channel 12.

An Israeli journalist for Channel 12, Amit Segal, complained over the fact that the US has been the only successful power to negotiate the release of hostages

What is the long-term damage from the fact that it is the United States that releases the hostage, not Israel? Do foreign passport holders have priority over Israeli passports only?

With this direct and unprecedented agreement between Hamas and the US administration, Trump not only slapped Netanyahu in the face, but also granted Hamas unprecedented legitimacy and victory since the beginning of the war

🇺🇸 🇸🇦 🇵🇸 🇸🇾Israeli outlet 301 reports Saudi meeting with Trump focus to be on recognition of a Palestinian state

Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has organized a four-way meeting between himself, President Trump, Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa, and Lebanese President Joseph Aoun, in the Saudi capital of Riyadh during Trump's visit.

Possible other discussions to come up include the repealing of the CAESAR Act.

➡️ The CAESAR Act is an AIPAC-backed ✡️ crippling sanctions bill passed by Congress in 2019 which completely wiped out of the Syrian economy and froze the Assad government's ability to wage large-scale offensive operations

Now that the Assad government is gone, EU and Gulf leaders have been urging for the repeal of sanctions to finance Syria's reconstruction.

Turkey came out in open support of Pakistan

China came out in open support of Pakistan

USA came, ordered #ceasefire , took crsdit [sic] and left

No country officially came out and supported India unconditionally, not even Russia or Israel.

India's international diplomacy has become all about gathering NRIs and asking them to chant Modi-Modi.

Time to seriously rebuild and introspect.

🇮🇳⚡️🇵🇰 - The New Normal in South Asia?

Oh, and btw, those militants India claims to have hit in Pakistan? Let's take that Indian claim at face value. For the argument's sake, let's assume that everyone killed in Pakistan in the initial Indian attack was a militant (we know for a fact that isn't true).

Let me assure you that the jihadists must have already made up for that by recruiting 10 times more than that number in a week. The Indian attack itself will be used as an argument for recruitment.

So, losing multiple jets, getting your bases attacked deep inside India, putting your pilots at risk of being captured by Pakistan, that all is supposed to be worth it because you took out a dozen or two jihadists and struck some empty structures? And while you are still fighting it out with Pakistan, something else goes down in Nagrota and you have to cover it up because what other choice do you have?

Yeah, India will be thinking a hundred times before trying to pull off something like this in the future, without at least significantly improving its capabilities first.

The Indian govt knows what exactly is the new normal. It's just that they have no face to explain it to their gullible people.
