He also stressed that, thanks to the intervention of the Portuguese authorities, there was no major damage to the consular headquarters.

He said he was confident that the investigations would lead to the perpetrators and determine the corresponding responsibilities .
🇬🇧/🇮🇱/🇵🇸 NEW: A recently published study by prestigious British medical journal 'The Lancet' suggests vastly more civilian deaths from Israeli airstrikes in Gaza than initially estimated by Gaza's Health Ministry

The study, which was conducted by using a statistical analysis of hospital data, obituaries on social media, and an online enquiry, indicates that approximately 64,260 Palestinians were killed by Israel in Gaza during just the first nine months of the war (October 2023 – July 2024).

This is a staggering 41% more fatalities than the official number published for the same time period by Gaza's Health Ministry.

The study also indicates that at least 59% of the fatalities from Israeli airstrikes consist of women, children, and and people older than 65. The researchers only looked at deaths directly resulting from Israeli bombardments, not indirect casualties as a result of lack of food, medicine or clean drinking water.

Last October, a large group of American and other Western doctors that worked in Gaza's health sector already wrote an open letter to the international community, stating that they estimate the real death toll to be much higher than the official number, and that they estimate it to be well above 100,000 fatalities.

🇹🇷 🌍 — Turkey's rapid diplomatic expansion into Africa

After recently mediating a diplomatic rift between Ethiopia and Somalia, Turkey has been quickly establishing itself as a key player within many verticals of African geopolitics

Currently, Turkish companies on the African continent are involved with:

🚂 Construction & financing of new rail lines throughout East Africa

⚡️ Supplying power to coastal cities throughout West Africa

🚁 Supplying cheap drones and other weaponry to surveille and combat terrorism

🛢 Offshore oil & gas exploration in Somalia

💲 Purchasing African oil & gas from new producers

🇱🇾 Forcing a cease-fire agreement in the Libyan civil war

As of 2023, Turkish contractors were involved in $85.5 billion worth of projects. In parallel, in 2002, the country had embassies in just 10 African nations. By 2023, that number had soared to over 40.

🇵🇸/🇮🇱The Israeli army recently completed the construction of a 1-kilometer-deep buffer zone along the Gaza Strip’s border with the occupied territories. The buffer zone covers an area of 58 km2, accounting for 16 percent of the total Gaza Strip area.

Additionally, in the Netzarim axis, Israeli army has occupied 49 km2 (13.5% of Gaza), destroying all residential buildings. In the Philadelphi axis, Israeli army has occupied 12 km2 (3% of Gaza), destroying at least 6,932 buildings to maintain a permanent presence.

Consequently, approximately 32.5 percent of the Gaza Strip is currently destroyed and occupied by the Israeli military. These areas are permanently occupied by Israeli forces, with troops stationed there constantly.

🔥📝 Erik Prince on X:

"As one watches the videos of contractor owned and operated aircraft please realize the stark contrast in competence between teams that modify and maintain aircraft up to 60 years old flying in combat like conditions verses government bureaucrats that fail to maintain the basics of full reservoirs and fire hydrant maintenance.

Just sourcing parts for old aircraft is extremely hard let alone keeping them flying when the fight is on. Flying a heavy commercial aircraft at max gross weight in close proximity to mountains, smoke and swirling winds is extremely dangerous yet they make it look easy. Thank a contractor today!

It's a pity the Democrat party destroyed my old business Blackwater. We were going to pivot the team of thousands and 73 aircraft fleet to private fire fighting service. Might have been useful about now... "
