💰 BNB Chain launches opBNB L2 solution

BNB Chain announced the launch of an EVM-compatible Layer-2 testnet opBNB, which is built on top of Optimism. Its main goal is to increase the speed of transfers and reduce commissions.

According to the developers, transactions in the new solution will cost about $0.005, and the throughput will be about 4,000 TpS.

CertiK received $500,000 from the Sui Foundation for discovering "long before the launch of the network" an "infinite loop" error in the blockchain code.
