Weekly Fud Buster Dashboard Updates

On-Chain validation on Tether and Whales Reshuffling

1. Tether
- Tether revealed that it holds approximately $1.6 billion worth of Bitcoin, making it 11th in terms of holdings.
- The "so-called Tether Bitcoin holding wallet on Twitter" doesn't match Tether's quarterly reports. While there were no bitcoin holdings in last year's Q4 report, the same wallet has been accumulating bitcoin.

2. Whales
- There's a tendency to perceive a group of entities holding 1K+ Bitcoins as whales.
- There's a blind spot, and you can miss individual characteristics. For example, there's a possibility of missing the labels of exchanges' wallets when they are just internal wallets.
- From May to July, 1K to 10K and 10K to Bitcoin moved hugely. There was also a significant spike in exchange withdrawals. However, it appears to be the movement of wallets within the Robinhood. The Bc1 wallet received 118,300 BTC coins over about three months.

A selection of alpha twitter accounts

Given the ever-changing meta in crypto-Twitter, I made a small selection of accounts, reading of which allows you to be in focus on the latest "hot" things.

Disclaimer: you should not take all the recommendations from accounts as a call to buy, you should always be treated with hefty skepticism, because Twitterers, of course, shill the projects that they bought earlier or hate those projects that they missed.

I will write a brief description of each of the accounts, indicating its win-s and zashkvara.

1 Cevo

https://twitter.com/cryptocevo

Cevo caught the attention in January 2023 when it famously guessed the AI narrative, was able to ride GRT from 5 cents to 25 cents, and sat in RLB all the way with less than 1 cent.

Zashkvar: somewhere in the feed, not very high-quality small drops can slip through, and among the winners, those projects that he shills on ATH can get in.

2 Shual

https://twitter.com/0xShual

He ran an excellent TG channel where he dumped research articles / twitter threads on projects.

He talks well about the latest trends: migration to ETH L1 as a reason to pump for tokens.

Zashkvar: overestimated the hype for the Prime token drop, shilled it on ATH.

3 Ansem

https://twitter.com/blknoiz06

The great and terrible Jewel shiller for $10 ($0.12 today). He wrote powerful reviews on the market, a la Arthur Hayes essays on shieldcoins.

Despite the global rekt from his recommendations at the beginning of 2022, in 2023 it turned into a machine for finding meme-tokens:

Biggest wins of 2023:

Pepe on April 21, before the 27x increase:

Also Unibot, DMT, Harry Potter Obama Sonic Inu 10.

4 Yieldfarming

https://twitter.com/delucinator

At the delucinator, you can peep the latest farms, exploits.

Zashkvar: since he farms absolutely everything that is not pinned down, then his level of hits in ragpulls is significant, including getting stuck in FTM, Kava with stables.

5 Brent

https://twitter.com/Brentsketit

Mid curve fudder, likes to food on new projects, perhaps in order to dump the pose to his input.

Pretty early coverage of new projects on the market.

Zashkvar: like a typical mid-curver - likes to buy tokens on highs, often used by crypto Twitter as a signal to exit the token.

6 Davis

https://twitter.com/basedkarbon

Shieldposter, in the wake of recent projects, is well versed in meme narratives.
400x on Unibot:
https://twitter.com/basedkarbon/status/1682796284787269633

Zashkvar: publishes fomo-posts about his big winnings without specifying the token, it is almost impossible to understand at the time of his entry where he eypnul.
Shillill Worldcoin at 2$+.

#BHUSA: New Zero-Day Vulnerabilities Could Instantly Drain Crypto Wallets

Multiple zero-day vulnerabilities have been discovered in some of the most used cryptographic multi-party computation (MPC) protocols, putting consumers’ cryptocurrency funds at risk of theft.

In findings presented during Black Hat USA on Wednesday, August 9, the Fireblocks Cryptography Research Team said that the vulnerabilities, if left unpatched, would enable attackers to drain funds from the wallets of millions of retail and institutional customers “in seconds.”

Malicious Campaigns Exploit Weak Kubernetes Clusters for Crypto Mining

Exposed Kubernetes (K8s) clusters are being exploited by malicious actors to deploy cryptocurrency miners and other backdoors.

Cloud security firm Aqua, in a report shared with The Hacker News, said a majority of the clusters belonged to small to medium-sized organizations, with a smaller subset tied to bigger companies, spanning financial, aerospace, automotive, industrial, and security sectors.
