The purpose of my wirting of this book is to showcase how to leverage advanced statistics and machine learning as well as causal inference in translational bioinformatics. This is an evolving field inviting innovations and ideas, and I would like to write this book to introduce this field to the general public, to inspire newcomers, to invite peers for critiques and suggestions and just to get the converation on translational bioinformatics started.
