The Summer School on Computational Research Advances in Biomedical Sciences (CRABS) is a week-long international training program in bioinformatics and computational biomedicine, taking place in Kyiv, Ukraine, from August 10 to 17, 2025. The school is co-organized by the Kyiv School of Economics and the NGO Genetically Modified Organization.

CRABS brings together students, early-career researchers, and professionals eager to bridge the gap between data science and the life sciences. The program begins with foundational lectures introducing essential bioinformatics concepts, tools, and methods. Participants then engage in hands-on training through one of several specialized tracks, including:
