One of the principle arguments for the preterist interpretation of Revelation is the use of words like "soon" and "at hand" (ταχος, εγγυς) in the beginning of the book. But this argument is self-refuting, because these words are used to bookend the entire Apocalypse.
You can't pick and choose which terms you want to emphasize in order to prop up the bizarre preterist interpretation.

Debunking the claims of both the "24 hour sun" and the "moon is a reflection of the sun's light":
Scripture shows that on the current earth we live in that God created, there is no such thing as a "24 hour sun" and that the sun and moon are independent, seperate, lights:
1) If a 24 hr sun existed, then why does God mention the seperate time of the day for the sun to light up and the seperate time of the night for the sun to light up?
2) If the moon reflects the sun's light and is not a seperate, independent light, then why are the sun & the moon called two completely different names by God himself AND why is the sun called the greater light and the moon called the lesser light, and why does God command the sun to light up the daytime and the moon to light up the nighttime?

14 And God said, Let there bee lights in the firmament of the heauen, to diuide the day from the night: and let them be for signes and for seasons, and for dayes and yeeres.

Now, to the point. What Numbers 2 lays out is a picture of the camp, surrounding the Tabernacle, the heart of the camp where the Spirit of God appears as a cloud by day and a pillar of fire by night. The Levites to each direction, serving the 4 camps.
The rectangular tent of the Tabernacle facing East would see the camp of Judah. Larger than the others. West, a bit smaller. North and South, almost equal.
There are two schools of thought on this, presented above. One school teaches that each camp surrounded the Tabernacle in a square, the tribes each side by side.
The other sees the camp laid out in a nearly perfect cross. With the camps laid out by one tribe, next to them another, and then another.
A cross with the heart being the holy place of God. Where the blood was shed for sacrifice, a picture of Christ. Facing East, looking towards Judah. Jesus being the morning star.
