What does it mean to backload works onto salvation? It is a heresy where someone says “If you’re saved, then you SHALL have good works.”

They may also say it like “You’re saved by grace through faith BUT you shall have good works if you’re really saved.”

The idea that saved people automatically do good works is not a Biblical idea. It is an idea that lulls saved people to sleep. After salvation, if we want to do good works, then we have to put forth the effort to do good works.

Sadly, there are even saved people that fall into believing this teaching. Our brethren need our help on this.
