Proof King James was not a Freemason: Freemasons admit that there is no primary source documentation for King James I's supposed intiation into Freemasonry and that his supposed Freemasonic "initation" is "apocryphal", which is defined as "questionable, erroneous, fictious".

Also, the Freemason website of "the Grand Lodge of British Columbia and Yukon" in the picture is from British Columbia and Yukon which are in Canada. Yet King James I lived in Scotland and Britain, and that website does not show any first hand documentation, record or papers of King James I becoming a Freemason in a British or Scotland lodge from the 1600s!
