According to this demonstration the sun and moon are embedded in the glass firmament or rather on the outside of the firmament shining through the dome, and not floating around above our heads like we see in most 3D flat earth rendered models.

However, it still doesn't explain why we can see clouds through the sun during a solar eclipse, as the clouds are inside of the firmament. What this theory also doesn't take into account is the fact that we can see the sun nesseled in the clouds.🤔
