There is a mountain in the north according to the King James Bible:
Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised in the city of our God, in the mountain of his holiness. Beautiful for situation, the joy of the whole earth, Is mount Zion, on the sides of the north, The city of the great King.

God shows that there is a tall mounatin in the north (at the center/middle of the circle of the earth of Isaiah 40:22). He even says it is "the mountain of

In the New Testament, God potentially hints at this literal high mountain in Matthew 4:1-2, 7 and Luke 4:5, since during the time Jesus was tempted by Satan none of the mountains within a 40 days' journey or walk from Judea are "an exceeding high mountain" (Matthew 4:8) or "high mountain" (Luke 4:5).
Due to the fact that the highest mountain in the Middle East region (where Judea was located in) is Mount Damavand (which is only 18,606 feet/3.52 miles high and is not "exceeding high" or "high mountain-- the only option left is that the high mountain that the Devil tempted Jesus to worship him (see Matthew 4:8-11 KJB and Luke 4:5-8 KJB) would be in the sides of the north, not in the Middle East.
