Drastic increasing of burned cars in France as a new record was set in 2020.

This year's New Year's Eve has seen 13% more vehicles burned than the previous year, which was already a "record" year with 1,290 cars burned.

In some places the night was very tense. This is particularly the case in Strasbourg where, according to the local authorities, 220 cars were burned, twice as many as last year. Not forgetting that the Strasbourg fire brigade was violently attacked.»
