I think Variational could be the next big thing after Hyperliquid.
We have roughly 20–30 weeks left before the points program ends. Around 150,000 points are distributed every week, but farming them has become much harder lately.
Here are some observations so you can decide whether it’s still worth farming:
• Current OTC price: Points have been trading around $6–$10
• Expectations near TGE: Many participants believe they could reach $30–$50
Example scenario:
About $500k in trading volume, achieved by holding low-OI coins for a longer period, yielded roughly ~10 points a week ago. Because of this, longer holding periods seem to be more effective than frequent flipping.
Strategy:
A delta-neutral approach is currently the safest way to maintain positions for longer durations while controlling risk.
If your strategy maintains a good Sharpe ratio, there’s also a chance of receiving multipliers on those ~10 points for $500k volume.
