✨The third week of December 2023 continues to witness the incredible growth of SOL and OP, along with the meme-coin wave spreading across major blockchains.

✨Ethereum's Dencun upgrade is expected to take place at the end of February 2024, promising a boom for Layer 2

✨Over the past week, the crypto market increased by ~$108B (from ~$1,555B to ~$1,663B) of its total capitalization.

✨Bitcoin Can’t Overcome $44K
✅After a bearish start, BTC dipped to $40.5K for the first time in nearly a week. After that, the cryptocurrency recovered on Tuesday, gaining over three grand in two days and surging beyond $44K by midweek.

✅Despite attempts, the bulls struggled to sustain the momentum above $44K, leading to sideways trading. BTC has predominantly fluctuated between $43K and $44K for the past four days.

✅Earlier today, an effort to breach the $44K level was thwarted, leaving BTC about $700 below it.

✅The recent strong performance of some larger-cap altcoins has impacted BTC's dominance, sliding to 51% on CMC. Nevertheless, BTC's market cap remains above $850B.

✨SOL Becomes 4th
✅It’s safe to say that Solana’s native token has been at the forefront of the recent price rally among the altcoins, and the past week alone brought a 55% surge for SOL. On a daily scale, the asset is up by over 16%. As a result, it skyrocketed to over $110 for the first time in almost two years.

✅The weekly scale also shows massive price surges from the most prominent altcoins. NEAR, OP and INJ lead with increases of around 70%.

✅BNB, AVAX, DOT, LINK, UNI, INJ, and LDO also had good growth on a weekly scale, from ~10% - 30%

✅BSCS is trading at $0,0159: +15,74% from its 7-day all-time low of $0,01374.

✨Bitcoin Fear and Greed Index is 73 - Greed, higher than at the beginning of the week (65)
